A fun learning toy for little culinarians, this kitchen unit is designed with electronic sensors that recognize the make-believe foods that accompany the set and respond affirmably with more than 100 different phrases. ("Bacon and eggs!") A two-burner stovetop is flanked by a sink and a countertop, where a cordless phone sits, handy for chatting with a friend. Above rests a shelf with a kitchen clock, while below is stationed an orange-colored oven with a working door, along with a water dispenser and ample storage. The toy is multilingual, able to speak in English, Spanish, or French. Included in the 22-piece set are a grilled cheese sandwich, a chocolate chip cookie, a sauté pan, cups, plates, silverware, and ketchup.
